Founded in 2018 by Toby Ward-Smith, South Side Theatre Academy are an award-winning, cutting-edge theatre academy in Surbiton, aiming to break down barriers, empower young people and increase diversity in youth theatre.

At South Side, we believe every performer has a story to tell. Our weekly classes, holiday camps and exciting rehearsals help young people grow in confidence, creativity, and teamwork - all while preparing for our spectacular stage shows. From age four upwards, everyone has the chance to belong, to grow, and to shine at South Side.
