Harriet Jekyll carries on her husband's scientific work. Florence Monroe is pulled into a police interrogation room after writing a fanfiction that incites violence. Join Young Company as this classic tale gets a radical reimagining and see the faces that everyone hides behind.

A radical re-imagining by playwright Evan Placey of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic tale, where civilised society meets seedy Soho in a thrilling collision of Victorian England with the here and now.

'Jekyll & Hyde' is being performed as part of our Young Company, Ages 15-18 Weekly Theatre Academy classes on a Tuesday. You can find out how to join the cast by clicking here.

Jekyll & Hyde is being performed as part of our Young Company (15-18 years) Weekly Theatre Academy. Rehearsals for the show take place every week in our Young Company Academy class on a Tuesday from September 2024.

Cloakroom

There are no cloakroom facilities at the cornerHOUSE.

Accessibility

The cornerHOUSE is accessible by wheelchair-users and people with restricted mobility, being on a single level with step-free entry from the pavement. When booking tickets please do add access requirements in the seating requests section.

Getting Here

It is best to use public transport to get to the cornerHOUSE. Please ensure you follow all Government Guidelines upon your travel to the theatre.

The nearest train station is Tolworth overground which is approximately 20 minutes walk away, or you can pick up the 406 or 418 bus and get off at the top of Douglas road. Surbiton station is 25 minutes walk or you can also catch the K1 bus.

Buses 281, 406 and 418 stop regularly at the end of Douglas Road , bus K1 stops near the end of Ravenscar Road (ask for Tolworth Hospital) and bus 71 stops in the Hook Road (ask for Thornhill Road).

Please note that if you use your own car there is no dedicated parking at the cornerHOUSE and it is usually difficult to park nearby.
