MINI ACADEMY
Our Mini Academy for Reception to Year 2 allows our young performers to start to explore their imaginations. Throughout the term we just explore their young minds and whisk them away to a range of magical places through singing, dancing and acting!
SENIOR ACADEMY
Our Senior Academy classes for years 7-10 is our advanced drama class for all abilities, providing an in-depth, professional and imaginative set of classes exploring everything theatre has to offer. Whether you're looking to go into the industry or just perform as a hobbie, this class is for you!
Throughout the term our Seniors are taught the fundamental techniques of theatre in a fun and safe environment. We aim to create a space where each and every child feels like they can be themselves and grow in confidence!
Our weekly workshops explore all elements of theatre, which will then be used in a performance either in the main performance space or on a professional stage. Throughout the term you will develop in confidence and technique as we explore a range of drama skills such as comedy, script work, improvisation and musical theatre.
In previous terms we have performed and explored shows such as Bryony Lavery's 'It Snows' and 'Blood Brothers' and explored the likes of comedy, physical theatre, musical theatre, improvisation and script-work.
Every term ends with a performance for friends and family, including a full scale production each year on a professional stage!
This term all three of our Senior classes are in rehearsals for 'Guys and Dolls JR' which will be performed at the cornerHOUSE this Christmas!
NEXT PRODUCTION
Our next Senior Weekly Academy production will be 'Guys and Dolls JR' performed from the 7th-8th December 2024 at the cornerHOUSE.
From the very first workshop auditions, throughout the rehearsal process and into production week our young performers will work with our professional production team, who create a safe and fun rehearsal environment allowing them to thrive on stage.
Whatever your your past experience, there is a place for you in our shows, with every production ensuring every student has their moment to shine, giving everyone a space to grow and develop with their talents.
Previous productions have also include 'Elf the Musical JR' 'Sister Act JR', 'Legally Blonde JR', 'Shrek the Musical JR' and 'It Snows'!
