South Side Theatre Academy are on the lookout for 15-18 year olds to join our production of The Addams Family: Young@Part.
Every member of our Young Company, regardless of experience, will have a moment to shine in our full scale shows!
Be a part of our award-winning Weekly Theatre Academy as rehearsals kick off this September in our Tuesday Young Company class. Working with our professional production team, ahead of a spectacular production at the cornerHOUSE in February 2026, fit with full lights, sound, costumes and set!

AUDITIONS & REHEARSALS
Rehearsals take place within our Weekly Theatre Academy classes, for an hour and a half a week. Across the first 2 weeks of term, our creative team will work with the casts to explore the story, music and choreography in our workshop auditions, where everyone will be given the chance to showcase what they can do. Students will given the opportunity to perform a solo if they wish, sing as an ensemble, perform a piece of choreography, and showcase their acting skills in a scene. Following this, casting will be announced, with casting designed to give everyone their moment, no matter their role, allowing them to learn and grow.
We then get to work with rehearsals, starting with the big full company number so everyone is involved, and then working through the full show material.
Alongside the regular weekly rehearsals, at the theatre there will be one tech and dress rehearsals on either Thursday 5th and Friday 6th February, with the shows on the 7th & 8th February 2026.

About The Addams Family
The Addams Family is a comical feast that embraces the wackiness in every family!
Wednesday Addams, the ultimate princess of darkness, has grown up and fallen in love with a sweet, smart young man from a respectable family – a man her parents have never met. And if that wasn’t upsetting enough, Wednesday confides in her father and begs him not to tell her mother. Now, Gomez Addams must do something he’s never done before – keep a secret from his beloved wife, Morticia. Everything will change for the whole family on the fateful night they host a dinner for Wednesday’s “normal” boyfriend and his parents.
Filled with outlandish characters, adventure galore and an upbeat score including 'Pulled', 'Full Disclosure' and 'When You're an Adams', this is not one to miss out on!
